Keep your cosmic practice simple

My social media is filled with astrology accounts, and most days I'm scrolling through content on the cosmic weather of distant planets and how they impact us here on Earth.

When you're exposed to the constant flow of "once in a lifetime" and "rare and auspicious" planetary transits, there's an underlying pressure to do something to mark the moment.

And quite frankly, life is busy enough without feeling like you should be doing shadow work, manifesting and generally striving to improve your life physically, mentally and spiritually.

My own Full Moon practice on Wednesday was completely informal. I had dinner with a dear friend, we ate Eton Mess and we talked about how we want to embody more self-care in our lives.

In this sense, we'd paid homage to the Strawberry Moon and drew on the themes of Jupiter (the planet of expansion) moving into Cancer (the sign of nurturing and wellbeing) this week.

If you feel overwhelmed with your cosmic practice, scale it back, knowing your intention is more important than the action itself.

Beth and I created Full Moon Circles to keep our practice simple. We move, we meditate and we come together to honour the themes of the cosmic landscape, for one evening a month. For you, this means done-for-you lunar self-care.

Allow yourself this time to deepen your self-knowledge, knowing you're held in a safe container with like-minded individuals.
