Hi, I'm Kat.
I'm a Yoga Teacher living in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire and teaching yoga in Kidderminster, Stourbridge and surrounding areas.
For me, yoga is more than just physical exercise; it is a holistic approach to personal & communal wellness, that nourishes your mind, body, and spirit.
Through regular practice, you can experience the transformative effects of yoga, as it helps you to cultivate strength, flexibility, and inner calm.
About Classes
Slow Flow / Mindful Vinyasa combines breath with movement, as well as lingering in some postures to give a mindful, balanced practice. Expect heat-building flows, alongside static poses to build strength and flexibility. This is a mixed-levels class, so you will be supported whether you are a beginner or seasoned yogi.
Flowing with the breath from one pose to the next, Vinyasa Flow classes build balance, strength, resilience and flexibility at a faster pace. Although best suited for experienced yogis with a regular yoga practice, it can still be accessible for beginners.
Hotpod Flow is practiced in a purpose-designed inflatable pod, heated to 37°c, which intensifies the physical challenge, and can improve flexibility, strength, and circulation.
Classes take inspiration from the natural world, incorporating lessons from the cosmos, the seasons and the elements. As well practicing the physical postures (asanas), classes weave in other limbs of yoga, including meditation, breathwork (pranayama) and yogic philosophy.
You don't need to have any prior experience of yoga to join these classes, but being able to get up and down from the fall is required. Variations are offered so yogis at any level can participate, and the use of props is encouraged for all practitioners.
At the heart of what I do is a commitment to holding space for individuals to turn inwards and know themselves more. As a well-being practitioner, I also aim to instil a sense of connection + community in my classes. Come practice with me and experience the joy of yoga for yourself!
