Terms and Conditions

By booking a class with LuckyKat Yoga, students agree to general terms and conditions outlined below. Students will be encouraged to feel confident and supported in their own practice.

Bookings

Class bookings are to be made in advance through the website/app and are non-refundable. Individual pay-as-you-go class bookings can be transferred to another date, up to 1 hour before the session is due to start through the website/app. A register for each class will be completed at the venue or online for insurance and monitoring purposes.

The Block Term Package allows you to access a term of Slow Flow classes at a discounted price. This supports the longevity of the class and rewards students committed to their yoga practice.

It is not possible to move credits with this block booking. Dates for each block will be listed so you are aware of when classes will be running - there will be at least 1 week gap before the next term starts, this is roughly in line with school half term dates.

LuckyKat Yoga is a small business and it can be difficult to manage individual purchases, so ensure you can commit to a full block before purchasing. Thank you for your understanding.

Health and Safety

Health and safety is paramount in class. Listen to your body when performing new poses. I am not medically trained, so if you suffer with health conditions that may be impacted by practicing yoga, please seek the advice of a qualified health professional before taking part in classes.

Please update me if there are changes to your health that may impact you in yoga classes. This includes new diagnoses, injuries or pregnancy. It is advised not to practice yoga within the first trimester of pregnancy.

Do not attend a class if you are feeling unwell or experiencing an new injury. I aim to provide a warm, welcoming and safe atmosphere in my classes. If for any reason you do not feel safe, please make me aware of this.

I will aim to make classes accessible for you in your body. I am happy to recommend other local classes if you/I feel my classes are not suitable. Classes aim to be beginner-friendly, but there is an assumption that students can get up from and down to the floor safely.

I will provide props and offer pose variations to support your practice. Please ask me about modifying poses to your individual body. Yoga can be challenging, but it's not supposed to hurt. Listen to your body during practice, and go at your own pace. Students accept full responsibility for injury or harm sustained during in-person or online classes.

Hands-on Assists

During class, I will offer verbal cues to help you fully experience a pose. Occasionally, I will offer 'hands-on assists', but I will always ask for your consent first.

At the end of my classes, I like to offer a hands-on assist during Savasana. This involves a gentle forehead massage. This is accompanied by using an essential oil spray on my hands.

Although I ask for consent in every class before doing this, please let me know in advance if you have allergies/intolerances to certain essential oils. If you do not want to receive any hands-on assists, you can let me know, but you do not need to provide a reason why.

Phone

In respect of fellow students, please put your phone on silent/vibrate. Exceptions are given if you are awaiting an important phone call, just let me know at the start of the class. The same goes if you need to leave a session early.
